The STSG disposes of two big security risks of using Terminal Servers via internet:
- All traffic between client and server is strongly encrypted. Listeners do not have a chance to decrypt your business information.
- The Microsoft Terminal Server is removed from the internet and located in the LAN.
As an extensions of your web server the security-optimized STSG server shields the Terminal Server from any attacks from the internet.
