Licensing information
Concurrent Users
Tunnel2 is licensed based on
concurrent users on one gateway server, e.g. an installation with a license for 3 concurrent users won't allow a fourth connection to a TerminalServer. The Tunnel2 clients do not require an additional license, the Tunnel2 Gateway Server is capable of addressing multiple internal TerminalServers (not restricted).
Examples
50 clients which require sporadic TerminalServer connections to check their emails on multiple TerminalServers: usually 15-25 Tunnel2 licenses sufficient.
25 clients working from remote offices where constant access to several internal TerminalServers is required: 25 Tunnel2 licenses
System administrator who requires anytime and anywhere access to 12 Microsoft Small Business Servers™ located at differenct facilities/customers where 12 installations of IIS and the Tunnel2 Gateway Server are required: 12x1 license.

Upgrade protection
All licenses offered below will work with every Tunnel2 Gateway Server (be it the IIS or the Java variant) in the 1.x version series. Tunnel2 1.1 is currently in development, 1.2 is planned (Q3/06).
