The STSG client is packaged as a simple zip-file and distributed via web. Users do not need any special privileges or knowhow.
They simply download and extract the zip-file and can start the ready-to-use STSG client.

Easy to install on a Microsoft Windows System
The STSG server is quite simple to install. The server is running within an Internet Information Server with a default web site. It does not ask the
administrator a single question but installs all by itself.
On a UNIX/Linux System
The server can be deployed in every J2EE compliant application server or in an Apache/Tomcat environment. The installation procedure depends on the
corporate system but it will take about 5 minutes to install the software.
No client installation
The STSG client does not need any installation at all. It is distributed via web as a simple zip-file including the ready-to-use STSG client.
